This group has been set up to help rescue shelters homecheck potential adopters, transport dogs, assess dogs, source fosterers, a place to cross post and advertise dogs for rehoming. Pretty much any way volunteers can help a rescue and their dogs.

Anyone can volunteer help and people are welcomed from all over the UK. Anyone needing help with a homecheck is welcome to ask on the wall although this group is new so some areas wont be covered yet.
Please have a look at our Homechecking document, which lets you know what to expect when doing a homecheck, what you should be looking for and what you should ask. Ensure you read the comments as well for advice from experienced homecheckers and people from the rescue industry.
If you have joined as a homechecker, please go through the documents, select the area document that relates best to your location and comment with the areas you can homecheck in.
