CreSoc - Newcastle University Creative Writing Society

CreSoc is a place for anyone who loves to write, read or just enjoys being creative.
Our aims this year are to provide an environment to develop writing skills whether in prose, poetry, play-writing or journalism and help our members gain new skills and experiences.
We hope to help our members learn about different careers in the industry, possibly getting work experience and also help our members enter writing competitions and gain confidence in their writing.

But CreSoc isn't just about working on our writing! It's about having fun too and this year is going to be the best year yet for socials! We are planning lots of themed nights, parties and trips. At least once a month we'll be having huge socials with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the nightlife of Newcastle with friendly, like-minded and creative people. Our first social, just after freshers week, is going to have a children's lit theme, so get thinking about costume ideas!
Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask and we hope to see you all soon!

Socials: Once monthly, ideas for themes etc. are more than welcome!

We welcome information about competitions, written work for criticism, any other form of discussion...but anyone spamming the page will be removed.
