United Voice of Ethiopian Muslims against Ahbash የተሰኘው ይህ ግሩፕ ኢትዮጵያውያን ሙስሊሞች በአገሪቱ ሕገ-መንግሥት ለሠፈረው የሃይማኖት ነፃነታቸው መከበር ከሚያደርጉት ሰላማዊ ትግል ጋር ተያያዥ የሆኑ መረጃና እውቀት መለዋወጫ መድረክ ነው፡፡
ግሩፑ የተከፈተው በኢትዮጵያውያን ሙስሊሞች ሃይማኖታዊ ጉዳዮች ላይ መንግሥት የሚያደርገውን የአገሪቱን ሕገ-መንግሥት የሚፃረር ጣልቃ ገብነት በመቃወም ነው፡፡ ይህ የመንግሥት ጣልቃ ገብነት በመጀመሪያዎቹ ጊዜያት የተንፀባረቀው መንግሥትና በእርሱ ቁጥጥር ሥር ያለው የኢትዮጵያ እስልምና ጉዳዮች ጠቅላይ ምክር ቤት (መጅሊስ) በሐምሌ ወር 2003 ሊባኖስ ወለድ የሆነውን አህባሽ የተባለ አስተሳሰብ በኢትዮጵያውያን ሙስሊሞች ላይ በግድ ለመጫን ባደረጉት ከንቱ ሙከራ ነበር፡፡ ምንም እንኳ የአህባሽ አስተምህሮን በግድ ለመጫን ታልመው የሚካሄዱት ሴሚናሮች በመላው አገሪቱ የሚገኙ ሙስሊሞች ባካሄዱት ጠንካራ ግን ሰላማዊ ተቃውሞ ምክንያት በአመዛኙ የተቋረጠ ቢሆንም፣ በሙስሊሞች ሃይማኖታዊ ጉዳዮች ላይ የሚደረገው የመንግሥት ጣልቃ ገብነትና ለዘመናት ሲካሄዱ በኖሩ ኢስላማዊ ተግባራት ላይ የተነጣጠሩ ጭቆናና በደሎች ግን በመላው አገሪቱ ሙስሊሞች ላይ በተለያየ መልኩ መፈፀማቸውን ቀጥለዋል፡፡ በዚህም ሳቢያ ይህ ግሩፕ ኢትዮጵያውያን ሙስሊሞች እና ከሃይማኖታዊ እምነት የመነጩ ፍትኃዊ ጥያቄዎቻቸውን የሚደግፍ ማንኛውም ዜጋ በሰላማዊና በሁከት አልባ ተቃውሞ መንፈስ ወቅታዊ መረጃና እውቀት የሚለዋወጡበት መድረክ በመሆን ይቀጥላል፡፡
ከተገለፀው የግሩፑ ዓላማ እንዲሁም የኢትዮጵያውያን ሙስሊሞች የጋራ ትግል ከሚካሄድበት ሰላማዊ ባህሪ ያፈነገጠ፣ የማይጣጣም ወይም የሚቃረን ይዘት ያለው ማንኛውም ጽሑፍ፣ ምስል፣ ቪዲዮም ሆነ የድምፅ መልዕክት በግሩፑ አስተዳዳሪዎች ያለምንም ቅድመ ማስጠንቀቂያ ከግሩፑ ሰሌዳ ላይ እንዲወገድ ይደረጋል፡፡ በጽሑፍ፣ በምስል፣ በቪዲዮም ሆነ በድምጽ ከግሩፑ ዓላማ ጋር የማይጣጣም ይዘት ያላቸው መልዕክቶች ደጋግሞ የሚለጥፍ አባል ከቡድኑ በቋሚነት ይታገዳል፡፡
ለሃይማኖትና ለእምነት ነፃነት መከበር የሚቆረቆር ማንኛውም ሰው ግሩፑን መቀላቀል ይችላል፡፡

A forum for information & knowledge sharing in relation to the struggle of Ethiopian Muslims for Religious Freedom.
The Group was created as a reaction to the government’s unconstitutional interference in Muslim religious affairs, which initially manifested in the futile attempt to impose the teachings of the Lebanese-born al-Ahbash sect on Ethiopian Muslims. Although the forced Ahbashization seminars have been largely abandoned due to the firm yet peaceful resistance unleashed by Muslims across the country, government interference in Muslim religious affairs and the suppression of age-old Islamic practices have continued to be perpetrated all over the country. Hence, the Group continues to be a forum for Ethiopian Muslims and anyone who supports their legitimate cause to share information and knowledge in the spirit of peaceful and non-violent resistance.
Posts by group members that are incompatible with the stated cause of the Group and the manner in which the struggle is being waged may be deleted by Group administrators without any prior notice to the person that post the content. Members who repeatedly post contents that are not in line with the Group’s cause may be permanently banned.
