This group is open to anyone wishing to sell Vintage Architectural Salvage. This includes, but it is not limited to: Vintage doors, windows, flooring, cabinets, hinges, latches, stained
glass, fixtures, gates, porch posts, lighting, concrete yard ornaments, vintage lawn furniture, windmills, lightning rods, statues, fountains, yard art, primitives, painted furniture, shabby chic, cottage style, and anything rusty or rustic that pertains to an old house, an old building, old store, old garden, old chicken coop, old barn, prehistoric attic, junk pile, scrap heap, old garage, tools, wire, etc. Re-purposed and up-cyled items are welcome if they are primitive in nature.
NO to clothes, shoes, pets, home-based vendors, loan offerings, etc. If you cannot be verified on Facebook, you may not be added. Admin has the right to delete anyone who violates these rules.
Please be respectful and courteous. If you do not agree with the price, you may make an offer, but please do not make negative comments about the item, the price, or the buyer in the comments. The seller is not obligated to take your offer. There may be other terms set forth by the seller.
All items listed should include PRICE and locale. Remember THIS IS A STATEWIDE GROUP. There are members from at least 14 counties to date. Buyers and sellers may need to work out shipping, payment, and delivery or pick-up arrangements. Consider signing up for a PayPal account or using Postal Money Orders for purchases outside your local area. Merchandise may be procured through:
mailings, in-person meetings, or courier service by other members or a third party or as agreed upon by the buyer and seller.
Seller is to set the price and any terms along with the posting. Defects or flaws should also be noted. PLEASE SET A PRICE! "Make an offer" posts will normally be overlooked. PLEASE LIST A PRICE. If you are unsure, post a dollar amount followed by OBO (or best offer).
Buyers buy "as is" unless the seller indicates otherwise. Interested buyers should post "interested" in the comment section for any item they might like to purchase.
TO ALL BUYERS and SELLERS: THIS IS A STATEWIDE GROUP. There are several who travel the state for business, pleasure, etc. So, please post a request if you are making a purchase or selling an item outside of your locale and need a liaison. There is also a new group called "Tri-Cities Exchange Train" that offers transportation options.
Seller should recognize the first "interested" commentator and give them opportunity to purchase the item. If the parties do not agree on terms, the seller is free to re-list the item. If the seller does not hear confirmation from the buyer within 24 hours, he is no longer obligated to the first commentator. The opportunity to purchase would then fall to the second buyer in line.
If the first interested party offers less than full asking price, and subsequent buyers offer full price, seller should give the option to the first interested party to pay full price. If the first buyer declines, seller can sell to then next interested party. If buyer 1 offers full asking price and buyer 2 offers more than the asking price, buyer 1 should be given first consideration. This is not an auction site and bidding is not acceptable.
If a seller has multiple items listed and a buyer has interest in more than one of the items, the seller can combine the items for one price. The buyer can choose to accept the offer or not. If he does not accept the offer or the terms, the seller is not obligated to the buyer for any of the items offered.
This is not an auction site and offers to bypass an interested party are not acceptable.
Please honor your agreements regarding your transactions. Members may be terminated for non-compliance of the basic rules of this group.
Seller can determine how long he will hold an item for the buyer, but this should be disclosed at the time of negotiations.
You may bump your items one time within a 24 hour period, however please limit the number of items you post to 15.
Remember, This is a statewide group, designed to unite buyers and sellers! Please post your location somewhere in the description. PLEASE POST A PRICE.
You may post an item as a discussion item, but please make sure your intentions are clear when posting.
