In completing this course, the student will learn about key theories and methods of advertising, and how different dimensions of advertising, consumer behavior and marketing communications link to form a cohesive whole for developing and managing marketing communications strategy.

The course describes the main paradigms theories and empirical research in the field of advertising, including also investigations in such fields as consumer research, marketing communications and media studies. The course is research-orientated and will involve reading scientific articles and case-studies.
