The IAASC is a heritage non-governmental organization established to protect the aseel Arabian Saluki from extinction which is being endangered through crossbreeding. It was licensed on 30th September 2013 by Order of the Royal Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is the first Arabic purebred Saluki registry in the world, and is also the sports governing body for Saluki events in the Kingdom. The center’s activities include conformation (dog shows), racing and lure coursing, with proposals for other exciting sports like agility, obedience, rally, tracking, earthdog, and herding trials among others. Through a programme of services and support the IAASC hopes to enrich the lives of Salukis.

MISSION:

The IAASC is dedicated to:

protect the aseel Arabian Saluki from extinction which is being endangered through crossbreeding as part of the heritage since time immemorial of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

upholding the integrity of its Registry, promoting the sport and breeding for type and function of the aseel Arabian Saluki.


OBJECTIVES:

1. Protect the Arabian aseel Saluki from extinction and prevent crossbreeding as part of the heritage since time immemorial in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2. Uphold high standards for the administration and operation of the IAASC.

3. Dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our Saluki Registry and protect the health and well-being of all Salukis.

4. Committed to advancing exhibitions for conformation and sport for the aseel Arabian Saluki.

5. Establish investigation and studies for breeding and maintenance of the aseel Arabian Saluki in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

6. Recognize the critical importance of our center and volunteers.

IAASC Founder:

LA. Fahad Al Farhan is the founder of IAASC. He believes in: establishing links with other Saluki affiliated organizations; is an advocate for the purebred Saluki as a family companion; advancing canine health and well-being; working to protect the rights of all Saluki owners and promote responsible Saluki ownership.
