Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone

Welcome to the Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone (HRCSL) Discussion Forum on Facebook. The Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone (HRCSL) is the National Human Rights Institution of Sierra Leone with a mandate to promote and protect human rights throughout the country. HRCSL exists to establish a culture of human rights in Sierra Leone, where the people respect the rule of law and live in peace and dignity.

HRCSL was established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 9) 2004, based on recommendations of the 1999 Lomé Peace Agreement and the 2004 Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) report.
