Welcome to the NEW and IMPROVED Online Garage Sale for Langenburg, SK & Area.
Because we want to keep this website organized, user-friendly, and spam free, members must follow the rules and regulations in regards to posting items they want to sell. If members fail to follow these rules, they will be removed from the group. Please see the description below.
1. This group is NOT to be used for ANY type of business advertising. Garage sale items only, please.
2. All pictures of items that are for sale must be placed in the appropriate album, or they will be removed from the page. See below for further instructions.
3. All pictures must be accompanied by item description, price and preferably location. If item does not have a price in its information, it will be removed from site.
4. Once an item is sold, the seller will be responsible for deleting the photo from the website.
5. Items will only be posted for 12 months maximum. At this time, items will automatically be deleted, and the seller will be responsible for reposting the item if interested.
6. "Bumps" are only allowed once per week per item.
HOW TO ADD PHOTOS/LIST ITEMS FOR SALE TO THIS GROUP:
- Click on the "photo's" tab on the top of the page
- Click on the album that best fits the item you are selling
- Click on "Add Photo's" on the top right
- Once the photos are downloaded to the album, you will need to go into your picture, click on "Edit" and then insert the details, price, etc.
- There is also an option in the edit tab at the bottom of your photo that will allow you to rotate your photo if it is posted upside down or sideways.
- Please only post a maxium of 3 photo's per ad. If there are multiple pictures for the same picture, please label "1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc"
WHEN USING A MOBILE DEVICE TO POST A PICTURE you STILL need to place the items in an album for them to remain on the website. You will need to log on to your mobile devices web browser (Safari, if using iPhone) and manually add the picture into the albums from there in the comment box underneath the pictures that are currently in the album.
SOLD ITEMS:
- Once your item sells and has been picked up, please delete your photo.
- To delete your photo, find your photo in the album it is in. Click on the photo. Click on the bottom heading titled "Options". Click on that, and it will give you the option to delete your photo.
- Due to the number of members, and not everyone deleting their ads when they sell, ads will expire and be deleted after 12 months. You are welcome to repost your ad at this time, if it gets deleted.
POSSIBLE REASONS YOUR PHOTO MAY BE DELETED:
- not placed in an album that has already been created.
- not in the appropriate album (e.g. Clothing in Automobiles)
- expired.
- missing a price and description
- exceeds 3 photo max/item
Lastly, buyer and seller beware. Sell and buy at your own risk.
