The Solomon Islands National Teachers Association was formed in 1985. It is the only recognized union that any government of the day can be able to negotiate and dialogue with in terms of issues affecting teachers and their various conditions of services as provided for in the trade union act as well as the national education act. We encourage all members of this forum to provide and debate issues in an educated and respected manner so that we all can learn from what we have discussed or debate here.
