A tribute to a very special place in the lives of those who grew up in rural Lee County, South Carolina. Ashwood-Central for many years contained grades 1-12. It was not until its last years before closing that it served grades 6-12. Every year on the first Saturday in November a reunion is held for the entire school in the Ashwood-Central Gym. This is an open group...which means that anyone can add someone on their friend's list to this group. If you have anyone on your friend's list that ever went to Ashwood-Central School, or married someone from Ashwood or who had a family member who went to Ashwood or someone who just wished they had gone to Ashwood-Central School....just go to the box on the top right of the home page where it says "Add people to this group" and type in their name and hit enter....and LIKE MAGIC they are added to our group.
