Early Childhood Education Graduates 2013 - University of Auckland Epsom

Finally got a reply from the ministry of education about paying my mentor.. Unfortunately she said the following ... My sincere apologies for the delay in responding to your query as I have been on leave. I am sorry to hear that you have this issue with your centre. While the Ministry of Education has the expectation that the mentoring and support of Provisionally Registered Teachers to reach Full Registration will be provided by your employer under the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, as part of Regulation 47, Governance, Management and Administration criteria 7 (GMA7), and Regulation 43, Curriculum criteria 4 (C4) ultimately the employer is able to assign the dispersal of monies/income of the service in any way they wish. In this case the employer has advised you, as their employee, that the mentoring and support offered comes at a cost of $800 which they expect you to pay.
As the licensing authority, the Ministry of Education cannot intervene in employment matters between employer and employee. Noho ora mai
