Raise Funds for Casa Emanuel in Guinea-Bissau

In November 2009 Erika Stenstrom & I traveled to the African country of Guinea-Bissau to volunteer at Casa Emanuel orphanage. Guinea-Bissau is a small country in Western Africa surrounded by Senegal and Mali and is the 3rd poorest country in the world.

In 6 short weeks we were able to raise over $10,000 + 6 duffels full of clothing, shoes, and medicine. The orphanage was so appreciative. But we don't want this to be a one-time event. There are more opportunities to get involved, whether contributing funds via paypal at any time, or sponsoring a child. Please contact us at scottcandice@gmail.com if you'd like to get involved. It has been our dream for a very long time and we were so blessed to have been given this opportunity.

Casa Emanuel is an orphanage for abandoned children ranging in age from newborns to teens. This orphanage has approximately 200 orphans and they of course need many items such as clothes, shoes, medicine, games, toys, rice, bottles, formula, mosquito nets and supplies. because we would greatly appreciate your help in donating funds or supplies to the orphanage. 100% of what we receive will be used to purchase these supplies and to give cash donations to Casa Emanuel.

Donations may be made via Life Link Rescuing Children and are tax deductable. Go to www.lifelinkrc.org and click on 'donate' to pay by PayPal or credit card. Please designate 'Casa Emanuel' for your donation and let us know as well so we can confirm your donation.
