(aka The College Libertarians of FSU)

Our mission is to educate the student body at FSU on all subjects relating to the promotion of a free society. All of our events are free and open to the public. Join this group to keep updated on our events going on throughout the year.

What is libertarianism? It is the belief that liberty is superior to oppressive force, and that liberty should be maximized. We believe that you can do what ever you want as long as you don't hurt anyone else or infringe upon their rights. Libertarians are consistent in their belief of freedom in that they advocate free people and free markets to ensure a more prosperous and free society for all peoples.

Libertarians come in many forms and ideologies, with the shared desire for more liberty in every facet of life. Among other names libertarians go by are Classical Liberal (e.g. John Locke), Paleoconservative (e.g. Ron Paul), Anarcho-Capitalist (e.g. Murray Rothbard), Objectivist (e.g. Ayn Rand) and Constitutionalist (e.g. James Madison).
