Anglophone Migrant Community in Seychelles

We would like to welcome our English speaking community in the Catholic diocese of Port-Victoria. Together we can gather as one family here in Seychelles. We invite you to share in our regular Sunday Masses at the Parish of St. Therese, Plaisance, at 11am.
WHO WE ARE
We are Catholic Christians from different nationalities working under the Diocese of Port-Victoria, in Seychelles.
The local bishop entrusted to us the specific mission to take care of migrants and itinerant people in Seychelles.
In the name of our Catholic faith, we work for all migrants and people on the move regardless of their religion or lack of it. For those of them who share the same Catholic faith with us, we also provide spiritual assistance.

OUR VISION
We envision a world that is animated by the Spirit of Christ, a spirit of love and healing, a spirit of truth and justice, a spirit of one family in God.

OUR MISSION
We are called to be (Instruments) one with the mission of Christ in bringing his welcoming spirit and compassion to the world especially to people on the move – migrants and itinerants. Being one with the mission of Christ means we are called to be family to migrants.
OUR VALUES
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you made me welcome, lacking clothes and you clothed me, sick and you visited me, in prison and you came to see me.” (Matthew 25:35).
