Tabubil, Western Province, Papua New Guinea

Our “paradise” - Tabubil, a mining town located in the Star Mountains of the Western Province of Papua New Guinea. The town was built on a plateau, 600 meters above sea level, which occurred from a land slide along the Hindenburg Ranges over 8,800 years ago and now sits on the banks of the Ok Tedi River, 800 air kilometers from the capital Port Moresby.

This page was set up for ex pat and PNG National people to reminisce about their time in Tabubil or people who know others who were in Tabubil or Kiunga or surrounding areas.
