This group is intended for the use and EXCLUSIVE ONLY for the MEMBERS (ACTIVE or NON ACTIVE) of L' ASSOCIATION DES PHILIPPINS DE TAHITI-POLYNESIE FRANCAISE and its IMMEDIATE FAMILY in TAHITI and ALL THE FILIPINOS living in Tahiti and French Polynesia, who ABIDE by our RULES AND GUIDELINES and SUPPORT the association's objectives.


1. Kindly observe ethical behavior when posting. Any post that would dwindle and put the reputation of this group at risk will be deleted. The deletion will serve as a warning and violators will be banned the next time.
2. You are solely responsible for your own prestige and reputation. Think before you post. Think before you reply. Your words determine who you are.
3.Spamming is strictly not allowed. Facebook has spam filters for multiple identical posts.
4. We ask you to refrain from annoying behaviors such as flaming , trolling and sock puppeting . When you go out of your way to be annoying, you can expect to be warned or banned.
5. Do not post graphic or disturbing photos, videos and other media in this group. If you are not sure about the content that you want to post, message the admins.
6. All opinions will be treated with mutual RESPECT, unless they violate the aforementioned rules. Treat your fellow group members with that same respect.
The admin and all future admins reserve the right to remove a post and to ban anyone who willfully violates the group rules and reserves the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the group dictate so as to ensure smooth group conversation.

The FILIPINO ASSOCIATION IN TAHITI-FRENCH POLYNESIA is a non-profit, non-sectarian, and non-commercial organization.

The main objectives for which the association is established are:

•To gather and unite all the Filipinos in Tahiti and create a strong bond where love, unity, peace, and understanding reigns;

•To create a safe and helping environment for new arriving Filipinos;

•To provide assistance to Filipinos when and where needed;

•To showcase talents and skills of Filipinos and provide opportunities for their self-development and growth;

•To preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Filipinos and its tradition and values;

•To organize parties, balls, banquets, social dances, including observance of town fiestas and other relevant activities such as pageants or contests, language lessons, cultural activities, community outreach programs and many more;

•To encourage a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibilities and environmental awareness;

•To cooperate with other associations to achieve these objectives.
