The University of Leicester Hong Kong Society aims to unite Hong Kong students in University of Leicester and to promote Hong Kong Culture. We are happy to welcome you as a new member to our society and hope that you would enjoy here.
Join this group if you will be starting at University of Leicester in September 2013.
First, congratulate and welcome all in joining us in ULHKS. We are here to help bonding the Hong Kong students within the student community and to provide a platform for freshers in UoL to meet with other Hong Kong people, to make friends and to gather up. It might be your first time leaving home and study abroad, you may feel nervous or helpless. Stay calm and no worries, we are here to help you out and hope you all feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and to kindly invite all of you to engage in our family.
Throughout the academic year, a range of events will be launched in order to offer you a fruitful university life, including the freshers’ dinner, socials and regular dinners; inter-university sports games, clubbing events and variety show for instance. Clubbing activities will be organized throughout from July to September and Orientation camp, reception day held in September as well. Keep an eye on this page as informations will be updated.
