Restless Development Sierra Leone Alumni

Restless Development is driven forward by young people and young professionals around the world. More than 1,000 young men and women, with an average age of 21 years, lead the direct delivery of our programmes in communities across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.

Restless Development Sierra Leone recruits, trains and support young people every year to lead development process through a number of programs. We ensure young people are given opportunity to take up leadership roles in their communities and make informed decisions about their sexual health by placing them at the forefront of the development process, and increasing their voices as well as improving access to livelihood opportunities.

Since 2005 Restless Development Sierra Leone has produced more than 1,000 alumni members and over that time these young people have gone to effect change and achieve great things for themselves and also leading development in different sectors in the country and abroad. Some of these young people have been very successful in their careers in the private, public and not-for profit organizations while some are still struggling to find their entry point into a career.
