A few words from Club Captain:

This season is going to be very important, with the changes in BUCS league and the introductory season for the SWALEC league out the way, the club has a new platform from which to progress! 'Teamer' a new online format will allow for further professionalism throughout the squad. Our involvement in 3 games per week means there are many opportunities for all to get involved.
We have the help of coach Chris for a second year and his experience working with Representative and RCG squads will once again be most beneficial. The squad really progressed under his influence last year is a great asset to the club.
We look forward to meeting all new players and the re-welcoming the old ones for the forthcoming season

A message from the 1XV captain:

Hi, i'm Terry and your 1XV captain this year. I am in my second year studying sports science. This year we will be competing in the Nothern Divsion 3A of BUCS, and looking to build on some of the success from last season. We have a strong coach which can be a benefit to players of all levels. I look forward to welcoming you to the squad in September, best of luck with everyone's results over the summer.

Our training times for the year are:
Monday 7 30-9pm
Tuesday 9-10pm (BUCS team run-through)
Thursday 7-9pm
Friday 7-9am (Gym work)

These sessions do not interfere with your studies and anyone is free to attend. There is a high amount of banter at training along with hard work and seriousness. Socials are Wednesdays nights and not all of them are about drinking.

Best of luck with everyone's results, and we look forward to welcoming you to the team in September after a cracking summer. Most contact is done through this page but some will be Teamer (a website we will use to contact you all about training and selection) We also have a twitter account @BangorUniRUFC which will be used for updates.

Any questions don't be afraid to message me, or anyone member of the team.

Cheers lads,

William Mann
