Dear prospective students,
The Edinburgh University Hong Kong International Society (EUHKIS) would like to express our warmest greeting to you all. This is a sub-group of EUHKIS (https://www.facebook.com/groups/EUHKIS/), this group has been created with the intent of providing a platform for prospective students to interact with others and receive information for all pre-departure events in Hong Kong.
EUHKIS is one of the societies under the Edinburgh University Student Association. We bring all the Hong Kong students together and represent the Hong Kong Community in the student body. Our aim is to offer enriching opportunities for our members through a variety of events, ensuring the member's welfare, supporting all members and serve as a link between alumni and current students.
In this forthcoming year a number of inter-university parties, sports events and festive gatherings will be held by the society, and it is important that we get your support and attention! We will also provide Freshers support especially during Freshers week so that all preparation as well as registration can go smooth.
We hope you are all looking forward to studying in Edinburgh, in order to clarify all doubts for life abroad and to get to know more people before the academic year, several events will be held this summer. There will be two pre-departure talks in August, respectively before and after GCE result day, where you will be given chances to ask questions and seek help from the committees. There will also be an orientation camp, details will be updated soon.
Being a member of EUHKIS is a reminder of our identity, we will try our best to represent our identity and to make you feel at home. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We are always here to provide you a sense of belonging and comfort. We look forward to meeting you all!
