Anthropology of Health & Illness at Edinburgh University

The Group for Medical Anthropology at Edinburgh University brings together a diverse group of scholars and students working on health, illness, and medicine.

The group engages people from both social science and medical backgrounds in a dialogue on topics ranging from shamanism to international health policy.

The group provides a forum for those currently based at Edinburgh as well as alumni and future students of the Medical Anthropology Programme to discuss ongoing research and current concerns.
