Interactive History of the places along the 680/24 corridor in Contra Costa from San Ramon in the south, west to Orinda/Moraga/Canyon, north to Martinez/Port Costa/Crockett, east to Pleasant Hill/Concord/Port Chicago and every where in between and will be limited to that area. None of us "grew up" exclusively in any one of the towns covered by this group and I was often frustrated on where to post something that was of interest beyond just one particular town.
This page has been created for the FRIENDLY posting of "680/24" area historical photos and stories hopefully to be enhanced by members personal experiences. I learn something every day here to which I am very grateful to our expanding and knowledgeable member base. That said having some FUN along the way is as important as the history itself!
