Football Manager Society, University of Sussex

The Football Manager Society brings together people who are fans of both beautiful games, SI Games’ football management simulator and the real-world version of those tiny dots running around on-screen.

Formed in 2011, we have evolved into a society where both discussion of real-world football and the game weaves in and out of our various meetings like a dribbling Lionel Messi. We are the perfect place for those with an insatiable desire to talk general rubbish about football in general and the Football Manager series.

We organise a large variety of events each week throughout term-time, including regular nights out in Brighton, where we stage socials or watch European or Premier League games. We also plan trips to local non-league sides such as Lewes and Whitehawk. The society also operates a football team in the university’s six-a-side intramural league, the mighty Reservoir Badgers.

If you have any questions about our events or just general information about the society itself then feel free to ask on this page or email
