Teal Tribe Behavioral Guidelines

Please treat this group with t...he same respect you would a treat a community home. We, too, are a shared spiritual community, a place to share your spiritual story, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely aids to the human behavior of our community. Use these guidelines to keep this a respectful, authentic and mindful place for discussion.

—Emotional Safety:

Despite this being a Social group, we still seek to maintain the objective of emotional safety. Emotional safety is the act of allowing someone to be vulnerable and authentic without antagonism, shameful accusation or abuse.

Let us seek to accept those who choose to be vulnerable from where they currently are and by doing so, we will naturally raise the vibration of all who choose to be involved, whatever that may look like for each person.

—Improve the Discussion:

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, The topics discussed here matter to us, and we want you to act as if they matter to you, too.

Whether you agree or disagree, what we really seek is a meeting of minds. Consider each others perspective and consider your interaction to be a learning experience to benefit from.

When responding with a disagreement, remember to criticize ideas, not people.

Please avoid:
-Name-calling.
-Shaming
-Ad hominem(Personal) attacks.
-Any form of Harassment
-Knee-jerk contradiction

—Your Participation Counts

The conversations we have here set the tone for everyone. Help us influence the future of this group by choosing to engage in discussions that beneficially serve you, doing so will make this a desire-able place to be.

—If You See a Problem, Report It

Admins have special authority; they are responsible for this forum. But so are you. With your help, they can be group facilitators.

When you see detrimental behavior, if you feel the need to reply please be mindful. Often when replying it instead encourages the user by acknowledging it, in this situation solutions are often out of focus. Just report it. Once reported, action will be considered and/or taken by an Admin.

To maintain our group, Admins will remove any content and/or member if that member presents themselves as a threat to the overall harmony and group objective.

—Nothing sabotages a healthy group like disrespect:

Don’t post anything that a reasonable person would consider abusive (sexually or otherwise), or hate speech.

Don’t post anything sexually explicit.

Respect each other. Don’t harass or grief anyone, impersonate people, or expose their private information.

Respect our forum. Don’t post spam or otherwise vandalize the group.

These are not concrete terms with precise definitions -- avoid even the appearance of any of these things. If you’re unsure, please contact an Admin.
