The BJP a direct successor of erstwhile Bharatiya Jana Sangh founded in 1980, is a major political party of India. The Bharatiya Jana Sangh was founded in 1951 by Syama Prasad Mookerjee, a nationalist leader, former Union Minister and freedom-fighter. The party advocates welfare social social policies, self reliance, robust economic growth, foreign policy driven by a nationalist agenda, and strong national defense.

(This is a political forum. And the members must be strongly nationalist. The objective of the group is to analyse the political situation of the nation and particularly West Bengal. Through the analyses we hope to find the strategies which will be useful in increasing the popularity of BJP in the state.

It is a democratic forum, and healthy differences of opinions are welcome. But bickerings and quarrels on non-issues must be avoided.
