Collegiate Neuroscience Society@Georgia State University

The Collegiate Neuroscience Society (CNS) is a chartered club for all students at Georgia State University who share an interest in neuroscience.

We have about 6-7 general body meetings a semester and cover topics such as: getting involved in research, graduate school, medical school, careers in neuroscience, and current research endeavors.

We also provide students with opportunites to get involved within the Atlanta community. In the past our members have volunteered to teach neuroscience to grades K-12 and volunteered for the Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Our faculty advisor is Dr. Michael Black, at the Neuroscience Institute

Our meetings for Fall 2014 will be every other Tuesday at 12 pm in Classroom South 410.

To become an official CNS member, dues have to be paid once a year ($15).
