Fiji Volleyball Federation

The Fiji Volleyball Federation was formed in 1970 with 4 affiliated members (Suva, Nasinu, Lautoka & Nadi) and around 500 players.
Today, this has grown to 16 associations - 13 in the Central/Eastern region, 2 in the West and 1 in the Northern region.

According to a 2004 survey by the Ministry of Youth, Employment Opportunities & Sports, volleyball is played by around 25,000 people in the country. This puts the sport amongst the most popular sports in the nation with rugby and soccer.
The structure of the Federation is grouped into major operations. These are
• Administration,
• Coaching Commission,
• Refereeing Commission,
• Development,
• Games Commission,
• Sponsorship &
• Beach Volleyball.
