Zimbabwean Madridistas

Our Zimbabwean Madridistas group is a fellowship of different open minded individuals bound by common love for Real Madrid football club guided by Madridismo spirit.

Madridismo is defined as the personal, paternalistic leadership style of Bernabeu instilled in the club a simple ethos that was resembled that of a religious order more than that of a political organization. The main elements consisted of a sense of austerity, hard work, humility and honesty. Real Madrid transmitted these values through its players onto the field, summarized in a term that has come to be known as señorío.
Madridismo is playing the beautiful game in a beautiful way. It’s not about winning, but playing with style and honour … it is something a Madridista demands from the club … A boring 1-0 win is just not worth it – You’d rather lose the game!

Real Madrid is the most successful club in Spanish football in terms of international and overall trophies, and was voted by FIFA as the most successful football club of the 20th century, having won a record 32 La Liga titles, 19 Spanish "Copa del Rey" Cups, 9 Spanish Super Cups, 1 Copa Eva Duarte and 1 Copa de la Liga, a record 10 UEFA Champions Leagues, 2 UEFA Cups, 1 UEFA Super Cup and 3 Intercontinental Cups.
