So why should you join and be active in AIChE?

AIChE offers chemical engineering students the opportunity to build leadership experience for their resume while participating in fulfilling social activities. Here are a few reasons why joining AIChE will benefit you:

- Looking for a job/internship? We are one of the most highly recruited organizations on campus.
- Want free food? Every other week at our general meetings, we have great-free food. Also, we also have several lunch-and-learns every month where you get free lunch and get to meet industry representatives.
- Struggling in class? Throughout the semester, we offer tutoring sessions for ENGR 111 and 112 classes, as well as guidance to get free tutoring in other areas.
- Bored? AIChE is funded well from our corporate sponsors. Being so, we offer many social activities that is free for our members such as: Broomball, intramural sports, plant trips, ChemE Car, Big Event, annual golf tournament, bowling, Mount Aggie, tailgates, industry mentors, Lunch & Learns, and Relay for Life.
- Like to travel? Every fall, the Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering sponsors about 20 officers and ChemE Car team members to travel to the AIChE National Conference. This year, at the national conference in Nashville, TN, our nationally recognized ChemE Car team will defend their title. Additionally, each Spring both active AIChE members and officers are sponsored to attend the regional conference.

Attend any of our general meeting found below and bring $10 (cash or check). If you cannot make the general meeting but would still like to join, please contact Adam Spriggs or Jessica Rodriguez.
