Henrietta Street Dublin "The Jewel in The Georgian Crown"

Henrietta was the 1st Georgian Street to be built in Dublin by "Luke Gardener" between 1720 and 1820 was named after "Henrietta Duchess of Grafton" her husband was the
second Duke of Grafton Lord Lieutenant of Ireland!
At the time the street was affectionately known as Primmates Hill because a lot Archbishop's, Bishop's and Priest's occupied the Street @ some point!and it was also built on a hil


I was born in 13 Henrietta St and it was the happiest days of my life! I'm the youngest of 10 children and @ one point our family lived in almost the whole house! My brothers and Sisters who got married lived there also my grandmother,Aunt,Cousins!
Our neighbours on the street were the best people i have ever met!We could leave our doors open and had no fear that someone would steal anything!everyone looked out for each other and it was a wonderful Street to grow up in. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> People who want to join this group must have either lived in Henrietta St and surrounding area IE: Market area, Church St, North King st, Capel St, broadstone, Bolton St,Kings inn St,Dominick St,Dorset St, or had Family or friends who lived in the surrounding area. Also people who went to school,or worked in area.
