demise shocked the former PM and ODM Party
Leader, R.T. Hon. Raila Odinga. Kenyans lost.
The people of Homabay County lost.
My big question is, Who should be next Senator
for Homabay County?
A number of contestants are coming up. I only
have a small piece for them: relax. This thing
needs to be consistent. You are good students
of politics and Raila Odinga loves all of you but
you cannot move directly from Pre-Unit to High
School. Tom Alila, Hilary Alila, Silas Jakakimba
and the rest, I hope you are listening.
Only one man satisfies the equation of
consistency I am talking about. The one and
only Hon. John Mbadi. I know Raila is looking at
his eyes very directly today, at least for
Homabay senate. My humble request to him is:
approach issues soberly.
Mbadi is the selected ODM chairman. Another
request: restore sanity into the party. Let it not
be a party where people buy their nomination
certificates, a party where the Oburus, Nyongos
and Orengos abuse other communities in the
name of defending Raila Amolo Odinga.
